Arup’s workplace, located on Whadjuk Noongar Country, is reflective of the global consultancy’s values, unique culture and commitment to sustainability. It is imbued with an authentic connection to, and reverence for, Country, cultivating space to acknowledge stories of its place and past, and to nurture those yet to come.
Jury Citation
In the Workplace Design category, what was once considered innovative – integrating diverse work, play and pause modes, along with breakout spaces connected to the outdoors – has encouragingly become the norm. The highly engaging and tactile Arup Workplace, Perth/Boorloo impressed the jury with its embodiment of Arup’s values and commitment to collaboration through co-design and sustainability. Its distinct workshop-like feel provides spaces that feel authentic and intuitive and accommodate a variety of functions. The jury unanimously agreed the thoughtful approach to this design has resulted in an environment that is rich, dynamic and energised. It is a space that encourages interaction and creativity in the workplace.
