Shortlist: Residential Design
Adrian Amore Architects for Hawthorn East Residence
A renovation to an existing residence in the Melbourne suburb of Hawthorn East, this project uses a language of subtle fluidity, with curving and bending geometries interfacing with rectilinearity in playful asymmetrically balanced compositions. The original dwelling has undergone a spatial evolution that fosters connectivity, strengthening flow and enlivening experience.
