Sam Crawford Architects for Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre (BARC)
Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre (BARC) was designed to improve animal welfare and to increase community acceptance and adoption of impounded animals.
Achieved through a design that connects animals and humans to nature, BARC’s facilities balance highly-technical requirements with a safe and welcoming building for staff and visitors.
