2008 Gallery

A brave and clear concept, with a strong story and narrative.  The ritualistic nature of drinking sake is impressively reflected in the design and a sense of the ‘Japanese’ is clearly evident. 

The interior embodies simplicity while the design makes a sophisticated use of texture and material.  The relationship between the materials used and what is consumed in the establishment has been highly considered.  There is a strong juxtaposition between the two areas of the project.
