Recognition

Award

An Award is given for projects that demonstrate the highest level of achievement within their category, in accordance with the judging criteria. Award winners receive a framed certificate, email and social media assets and use of the Australian Interior Design Awards logo for printed and promotional materials (on request).

Commendation

A Commendation is given for projects that demonstrate high standards of achievement within their category, in accordance with the judging criteria. Award Commendations receive a certificate, email and social media assets  and use of the Australian Interior Design Awards logo for printed and promotional materials (on request).

Shortlisted entry

Approximately one third of entered projects are short listed in any given year.  The Short List is published prior to the Awards Announcement, generating publicity for as many entrants as possible. Short listed entrants receive email and social media assets acknowledging their success.

Media recognition

There are significant media opportunities associated with entry coverage in the official awards report to appear in Artichoke and ArchitectureAU.

A publicist is appointed to promote the program and its entrants, resulting in significant coverage. In 2023, the media campaign reached a cumulative audience of over 67 million through numerous individual pieces of coverage positioned within industry media and across the consumer, business, hospitality and broadcast media spaces.
